• Yes, see my answer to NewYork. I run all Microsoft office applications without any problems and some of my spreadsheets are quite large.

• Easily. I set my parents up with a Surface 3 (not a pro model) and it could handle QuickBooks 2016 with ease on a much weaker processor. The best way to think of this tablet is really more as a laptop, it can handle whatever a similarly priced laptop could.
