“Can I get a data plan on surface pro like I have on my ipad? I bought a samsung tablet, and disappointed to find I could only use it with wi-fi. I need to be sure I can use internet in the car while traveling, and the UP where I don't have wifi access.”

This is not a mobile device. It's just an ultra-light PC computer. It only runs on wifi like any normal computer/laptop.
