Yes, the Surface Pro will run full programs. The model that does not do this is the Surface Go.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes you can. You just need to make a quick change on a setting. You need to go to Settings -> Apps menu. See my attachment. Now if you had the Surface GO - you'd have to update from Windows S to Windows 10 Home in order to do so. But that's not the case with the Surface Pro 6. Hope this helps!

Like with any device, if you are planning on downloading other programs, please be sure to check the system requirements, and make sure they are compatible with Surface Pro 6.
