The Microsoft Surface Pro 6 has a "mini display port" connector. You can plug it into a monitor that has a mini display port input. Or you can purchase a mini display port to HDMI 2.0 adapter and plug into a Monitor that has HDMI input. Microsoft sells this adapter and it has good reviews. Also this adapter will work with 4k. Not bad!
