Customers are saying
Customers are impressed with the Surface Pro 6's portability, light weight, and fast performance. They appreciate the long battery life and comfortable keyboard. Some customers find the price to be a bit high, and a few wish the screen was larger. There is also a slight learning curve for Apple users, but many find it worth the savings.

A Solid Tablet
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. While I'm not wild about being a tablet owner, I must say I've been impressed with the functionality of the Surface Pro 6. It's been easy to use, very responsive, and quite powerful for what I do with it. For me, I generally only use it with the keyboard, as I find it to be a bit heavy for tablet use (I suppose I'll get used to its weight over time). I also opted to get the Surface Arc Mouse with this bundle. It has been very helpful - using this as a powerful and compact laptop. I haven't found a need for the Surface Pen, but as I get more accustomed to using the Surface as a tablet, I may get the pen in the future.

i5 Surface Pro - Best Purchase
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.By far one of the best purchases I've made. I have the i5 with 8gbs of ram. If you have been deciding whether to get a surface pro or one of the surface lines, The surface pro is a amazing. If you want the lad tub then get the surface laptop. If you're deciding to between the surface pro and a surface book, just decide what you will do with the key boards once you detach it. I say a solid 4.5 out of 5 stars. The reason why is because I use one drive 100 percent of the time so I have it syncing to my one drive thru auto save as soon as I finish typing. There is a slight lag from time to time but pretty much the whole time in use it runs flawlessly. I did buy a case that best buy offers, $99. I can slide my hand in it and securely hold the surface in my hand. The only downside to have in a case is that you cannot use the full tilt within the built in design. I've only had one is you with the surface and it did not pick up the typing from my type cover key board once but I restarted it and it fixed it.

Surprised how well it works
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. To use the Surface Pro 6 for business and school (teaching) it works very well. My only complaints was the storage size. I got a micro SD card and redirected my documents, Photos, downloads and Music to the SD card to save space. Also the lack of USB C and having to use an adapter is a hassle.

Good gift
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really like this laptop. It’s great for on the go and school. It’s pretty light as well. I haven’t used my notebooks at all since I got this. If you get the full insurance on this from Best Buy, geek squad actually teaches you a few things too.

Amazing computer!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So far it has been absolutely amazing, quick to respond, and extremely versatile. I am so in love with it, this will be my go to in laptop for a long time. I love that you can mix and match the colors of the keyboard & screen itself. I love that it stays cool and and keep it on my lap because the keyboard does not heat up. It does an amazing job at not getting hot in general. Microsoft has got my attention!

Great product!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My old Laptop was falling apart on me so I needed a new computer. Especially since school was starting. It’s a great laptop/tablet. I mainly use it for school stuff or watching Netflix. I bought it when Best Buy was doing the “Black Friday in July” sale. The price was worth it. Sometimes their is a small delay but it goes back to being normal after second. I would recommend this to any student or someone who just needs a laptop/tablet to browse the internet or binge watch shows on Netflix and Hulu. Overall, I’m happy with my purchase!

I would not buy Microsoft products again.
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. As you can see that my Microsoft Surface Pro 6 is updating again this is the third update for this month. This laptop updates at least two or three times a month. At first for four months my Surface Pro 6 was fantastic. Microsoft Word had no problems. Then something happened in mid stride and I think it was either a change in the Microsoft team or a change in the management because Microsoft Word was giving me problems. Being a student at the University I would make notes for my anthropology course inserting pictures and typing definitions. Microsoft Word could not handle the information, and would start to glitch. Currently that is happening today especially after Microsoft Word updated and changed its programming. When I use Microsoft Word the Surface Pro 6 starts to flash. When I am using some other program, it does flash. Because this laptop is low memory, I put everything on OneDrive concerning only School. Since I am earning my bachelor's degree there are a lot of class information that I put on OneDrive and I'm running out of space. Microsoft OneDrive will grant me extra memory but a user has pay, that is too expensive as compared to Google Drive so instead I am now using Google Drive for my files as I have to keep my memory low so that the Surface Pro 6 does not glitch. Currently, because I am using a Microsoft computer every time I start my computer Microsoft tries to force me to use Edge. Microsoft edge is not as good as Chrome. Yet, every time I turn on the computer Edge comes what's up and asked me to default to Edge and that's annoying. It's not against the law to force someone to use their product if it's for free, but it does become annoying like a telemarketer. Every time I turn on my computer to start assignments for school, Microsoft always updates Microsoft Surface Pro 6 and that becomes redundant and irritating. I have used Gatewa, ComPac, and Asus laptops and I have never had any problems. There are two students in my family and they are using HP's and they don't have the problems that I do; not even the constant updates. I remember in 2003 when Microsoft Word used to be problem free and user friendly. Today, it's junk. They have this Microsoft hub that you can complain to but that doesn't help because they're making more updates and adding more bugs in their updates. The only reason why I bought this computer with extended warranty, geek squad insurance, cover protector, touchpen and keyboard, which it does not come with, all for thousand dollars is that it could fit on a student desk and I could touch write taking notes on the monitor. But taking notes in class was problematic because he had to have good Wi-Fi and it was easier, and quick to write on a notebook with a regular pen and paper. However, now that we're learning virtually, this laptop serves me no purpose and I should have bought the HP. Although you see satisfied customer review I am telling you that this laptop should be only for kids in elementary school and Junior High. This laptop cannot compete with a university student. I'll probably have to buy an external drive to help this computer keep up. If you're serious student or for home use or business I would not purchase this laptop. no matter how much you complain the Microsoft their customer service will always tell you sorry but that doesn't alleviate the problem unless they change it. The reason why I am given this review is because I am angry for the price I paid in the quality of this product. To me Microsoft has gone downhill. In addition, remember that because you have lack of memory your Microsoft surface pro is attached to an external drive which is OneDrive. If you have a lot of files like me a student it starts to build up and you start to lose memory real quick so I have to use a USB drive with this laptop.

Q: QuestionI need a PC with windows for work, however I have an iMac desktop at home. Can I plug the Microsoft Surface Pro 6 into the monitor of my iMac when I'm home to have a bigger screen? Will it be compatible?
Asked by Anita.
- A:Answer The Microsoft Surface Pro 6 has a "mini display port" connector. You can plug it into a monitor that has a mini display port input. Or you can purchase a mini display port to HDMI 2.0 adapter and plug into a Monitor that has HDMI input. Microsoft sells this adapter and it has good reviews. Also this adapter will work with 4k. Not bad!

Q: QuestionI'm not too sure how memory, ram, and storage work; but, how much "storage" is needed/ reccommended if I am going to college?
Asked by RandomCustomer.
- A:Answer That depends on how much you intend to save on your laptop. There are always flash drives that can save much of your essays if you feel that storage will be a problem. 128gb is more than enough to last you a long time in college and you can always delete old things that you don't need to gain back some storage space. Google drive also gives 15gb of free space I believe. You can also email the documents to yourself if you don't have much space left. There are many ways to save for storage so I don't think you should worry about the storage space needed but then again it depends on how much work you want to save.

Q: QuestionDoes this come with a pen or can a pen be added? I have a pen from my Surface Pro 4 will that work?
Asked by PJ.
- A:Answer Surface Pro 6 does not come with Surface Pen. Additionally, the pen that's compatible with Surface Pro 4 is not compatible with Surface Pro 6. The latest version of Surface Pen has been upgraded to have 4,096 points of pressure in the tip for a more realistic pen to paper writing with Surface, and can be used with these apps here: https://aka.ms/AA4r437.
