- Answer I looked this up the other day before buying a microSD card for my Surface pro 7. The max size is 1 TB (terabyte). My unit came with 128GB of memory and I added a 256GB microsd card. Everything is working well together. I chose 256GB as this seemed to be the best price point. It was about 40% more than a 128 GB card whereas a 512 GB card was about 8 times the cost of a 128 and 6 times the 256.

QuestionWhen using the Usb-c port connected to a monitor with also with usb- c port power delivery. Will this charge the surface pro at the same time Thus a true 1 wire set up? This is the dream MS!

- Answer The USB-c port will not provide any internal tablet charging, but will provide low amp output. I've read ratings between 1.2 & 3 Amp, but until I get and official rating from Microsoft themselves I'd not pretend to put a number to it. It too am broken hearted that they did not include USB c charging on this or the Pro X.

In general, an i5 of this quality will handle anything the rest of the Surface Pro 7 hardware can throw at it. I manage apartment my own and others, do real estate contracts and do all my banking. Have not had it long but bought it for travel and it has worked great so far. Julie

- Answer You will have to download and purchase office on it seperately. I may remember incorrectly, it might have been preloaded on there. But either way, I know I still had to purchase the office program seperately to use it.
