When it comes to graphics and video editing, the more cores the processor has the better. There are enough differences between the i5 and the i7 for those types of editing tasks that would make the i7 a better fit than the i5, speed being a main difference. There's also more cache memory in the i7 so more repetitive tasks are done quicker. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.From what I’ve read, i5 to I7 isn’t as important as making sure it’s the latest gen. The other thing is to make sure you have more ram than what adobe recommends since their ram minimums will go up while this device isn’t upgradable due to weight/size/form restrictions.
