I had a Surface w/ an i7 processor and recently switched to this model. I haven’t noticed a big change. It’s still lightening fast, especially as compared to older i7 laptops I’ve had. I’m not a gamer or a high end user though. I crunch “papers” a lot. Yesterday, I tried opening a HUGE pdf file (a combined legal code book). It took a little longer to open, but not like it would on my much slower desktop. For the most part, you won’t notice a difference unless you need to have a lot of files/programs open at the same time that chew up processing speed. I LOVE my new Surface LTE.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I also have one with I7. For my uses, I don't notice a difference but having LTE is great. If you travel or need internet access on the road its well worth it. They did a good job integrating LTE as it switches from wifi to LTE seamlessly.
