Q: QuestionIs this a Global Unlock version? I sometimes go to another country and have to use 3G or LTE in that country other than Wifi. Is it possible? Please let me know. Thank you:)
Asked by kim.
- A:Answer It has a built in IMEI / SIM that you can buy data on. Or you can put in a sim card the device is unlocked if you buy it outright from BB (not thought a phone company) then you can use any cell service you want. I am looking at using built in with small data plan and while overseas buy a local sim when I arrive. Hope this helps. This will let wife tether off my surface on her laptop.

Q: QuestionWill this work on T Mobile?
Asked by TMobileuser280.
- A:Answer It works in all major networks that offer data plans. It’s like adding any other tablet. I will tell you that once you have your external SUM card installed, you need to go into Settings/Cellular and choose SIM 1 and wait for it to pick up your network. It won’t work unless you do that because it’s drfaulted to its internal SIM card which you’d have to set up an account for (it appears). My works great now that I figured that out.

Q: QuestionI have the Surface Pro 2, everything appears the same as far as the system (minus the LTE) but my Surface 2 has an i7 processor, if i got this unit, am I taking a step down?
Asked by Fattchef.
- A:Answer I had a Surface w/ an i7 processor and recently switched to this model. I haven’t noticed a big change. It’s still lightening fast, especially as compared to older i7 laptops I’ve had. I’m not a gamer or a high end user though. I crunch “papers” a lot. Yesterday, I tried opening a HUGE pdf file (a combined legal code book). It took a little longer to open, but not like it would on my much slower desktop. For the most part, you won’t notice a difference unless you need to have a lot of files/programs open at the same time that chew up processing speed. I LOVE my new Surface LTE.

Q: Questionis the surface pro lte going to be able to go on at&t next plan like the ipad pro
Asked by surfaceman.
- A:Answer AT&T does not offer the Microsoft Surface Pro on the Next Plan. You are able to purchase it out right and add it to your existing plan for the LTE service, but AT&T will not finance it, if that is your question.
