Q: QuestionIs the pen able to stick to the side of some of the surface devices?
Asked by JClemens.
- A:Answer Yes the pen is magnetic and will stick to the side of the surface pro. However the magnetism isn't as strong as the original pen so I found it would fall off unintentionally.

Q: QuestionWill the Microsoft-Surface Slim Pen work with the Microsoft Surface book 3? If so, are there any limitations?
Asked by KristiW.
- A:Answer I have not tried with the Surface Book 3, however I did try with the Surface Pro 7 which uses the same pen technology as the Surface Book 3. With the Pro 7, this pen works perfectly with only 2 provisos. 1) There are no (that I know of) interchangeable tips for this pen. 2) The pen is magnetic and will stick to the side of the Pro 7 but the magnets are very weak and it falls off easily. I would expect a similar situation with the Book 3 but I have not tried. I would recommend the regular surface pen for the Book 3 as it will stick to the side properly.

Q: QuestionWhat is the bluetooth range for this pen?
Asked by Bluetooth.
- A:Answer Considering that: - the pen is meant to be used in contact with the tablet/computer - the bluetooth connection is between the tablet and the pen the range seems fairly irrelevant. That said, the low end of typical bluetooth range is 30ft according to the original spec

Q: QuestionWill this work on my hp pavilion x360 11 inch ? I think I got it on 2017. It has Windows Ink. I got the the wacom bamboo ink plus. It works but it glitches and idk if it’s because my laptop is abit old or it’s because of the pen.
Asked by Camille.
- A:Answer I don't think so because the old one works on its own without bluetooth with surface products, it only uses bluetooth to make pushing the eraser do something. I don't think they would change that in the new one.
