Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I just did this. I removed my old hard drives, installing a 256 GB SSD drive. Verify on boot up you can boot from a USB drive. Start your machine, the install will begin. Took about 15 minutes, and I was at the desktop and able to start installing my games and programs.

You have to know your computer model or a list of components if it's a custom built computer before you do anything. If it's a computer bought in a store, get model info, visit the proper support website, and if the particular model is windows 10 compatible download the software (drivers, etc) from the webpage and follow the instructions. If your machine is not officially windows 10 compatible then it will make things harder because you will have to pray that after the install that windows 10 properly works. If you have a desktop that was custom built I recommend you talk to the person or company responsible for the build.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If you have Windows 7 or 8, then you can "upgrade" to Windows 10. Otherwise, you will have to install from scratch. This will completely erase EVERYTHING from your hard drive. Also, this install is from USB; not CD drive.
