• A:Answer If it is the model that they are showing on the Best Buy website then yes it should be. The best way to see which version you’re buying is to look at the model number. This usb version is the HAJ-00108. The dvd is KW9-00633 and if you just need the key it will be model KW9-00633E. For Windows 11 home at lest. I can put a photo of where to find the model number on Best Buy‘s website but it should be under software details on the item.

• A:Answer If you are OK with paying again for Windows, you should be able to do a clean install. The retail version (this product) also allows you to uninstall and reinstall on another computer (the versions that come with new computers are locked to that computer). I don't know if you "need" a Microsoft Account for any reason, but there are tutorials online about how to make a "local" account (username/passord only). Maybe that will fix your issue. Good luck!
