- Answer if u plug in controller directly to Xbox it syncs automatically. If not press little circle at the top of controller AFTER pressing same sync button on xbox console.

- Answer It may work with a blue tooth 4.0 laptop But there may be some signal interfere. It sometimes cuts in and out and looses the connection. Best to use the dongle it comes with.
