I paid $0 down, reserving my Scorpio edition with only my credit card. No charge on card until the game ships about a week before launch day, although they will put a hold for that amount and check to make sure it won't put you over your limit sporadically, so if you are living close to the edge of your credit card limit, tread carefully, as I hear they may bump you off the preorder queue if the occasional credit line check gets rejected.

But, if you have a Best Buy account with a Best Buy Credit Card you can PreOrder online without being charged at all until you pick up the console. I PreOrdered the One X and i am not being Charged a dime until pick-up on Nov 7th. Having a Best Buy card has it's perks! :)
