As far as the hardware is concerned there is no difference. I believe the only differences are slightly cosmetic. Either way, the Xbox one x is pretty awesome and coming from the original Xbox one it was a pretty significant upgrade. I’m real happy with it.

Scorpio edition has a slight gradient on the console (a grey halftone pattern fading to black going from right to left) and green "project scorpio" text on the left side of the front face. The controller says "project scorpio" in green text vertically down the middle.
