• No, you can still play it as the game comes with the console. It's just that after the Gold Pass expires, you will not be able to play it online (offline gaming is still possible).

• When your Xbox live membership expires it will not allow you to play any “Online Based Game” it will still allow you to play offline and do story mode or side missions but you won’t be able play or talk with friends or other players until you get a live subscription.
