QuestionWhat is the best way to be notified when pre-orders will open up for the X box one x? I did not hear about the project scorpio version until after they were sold out. Would be nice to have a way to find out before they are all gone again.

- Answer Sign up for their email notification. I almost missed the window too, as the Scorpio link went live on a Sunday.. I got my order in on a Monday morning when I saw my email, and the link went inactive 3 hours later. The link is active now, and has been for the last 24 hours.... Hopefully, they have larger quantities of the standard edition so the speculators don't ruin this launch.

- Answer Nope. Looks like the preorders are sold out. You can always try standing in line for 12 hours on launch day, as the stores will have some available for walk ups, but I wouldn't bank on it. Your only other option is EBay and overpaying. The standard edition is functionally identical to Scorpio though, with only a vertical stand and a paint job on the front being the difference.

Questionso i understand the regular is being being shipped on nov1 .so i guess the scorpio version will also ship that day .my ? is this can we get early am del yes or no

- Answer It will show "shipped" on Nov. 1st. But your UPS guy won't bring it until 11/6 (if you are lucky) or 11/7. Maybe a day or two late if your local UPS center is mediocre. They sit on palettes for two days at Best Buy's distribution center until UPS comes to grab them. I usually just go with the store pickup option to be sure.

- Answer The release date for the console is November 7th, and if you are scheduled for launch day delivery, that is when you should receive it. If you have further questions regarding shipping, we recommend reaching out to Best Buy directly.

- Answer Yes, I used a bunch of banked points to lower my purchase price about $100....Just issue the certificate first, and then apply the certificate at checkout. Amex users can use Membership Rewards points as well......

Question#1 reason to buy this item would be to watch true 4K Ultra HD Blue Ray discs. Will this unit playback UHD 4k blue ray discs w/ the quality(sound and Vid 2160) of the newer Samsung/Sony uhd player? 2nd-gaming-is it backwards compatable 2 play xbox games?

- Answer This unit will play any games and use any accessories that work with the original Xbox One and the S. Only exception is Kinect. The original had a dedicated Kinect port. The S and X require a dongle to plug into one of the three USB ports. They gave you the dongle for free for a while when the S came out, but I have not heard any mention of doing the same for people jumping from the X1 launch editions to the X, so you may have to buy that accessory. The 4K Ultra BluRay should sound and look as good as those players..... Firmware updates will probably help close any performance gaps as well.

- Answer I preordered my Scorpio as soon as they announced it at Gamescon yesterday. My pre order was confirmed by email and shows up in my Best Buy customer account. It looks to me like they are sold out at Best Buy as they are at most retailer websites now. Preorders for the regular One X should begin any time now that the Scorpios are flushed out of the system.

- Answer I checked with my Best Buy in Bellevue, WA... apparently they are taking pre-orders in-store on the 27th when the store opens.. so be one of the first ones in because they will most likely be gone quick (prob the same for other BB stores).

- Answer Xbox One X does not "upscale to 4K" it does it native with a patch from the game dev. for older games, and newer games coming out will be at the highest quality and play BEST on XBOX ONE X already at release. Big difference... whatever resolution the game developer wants there game to be it will do native which mean in its true form.
