By coming soon it means its sold out, these things went bye bye withing minutes after launch, mainly to internet scalpers and bots who are now reselling on eBay and other sites.

Nope, I see it too - here's what Best Buy 'support' just told me:

Unfortunately we have reached out limit set by Microsoft for new Pre-Orders of the Xbox Series X and Series S, and cannot place anymore or will not be allowed to order on .com. You may wait for the official release date, on November 10th, 2020 to order on Bestbuy.com, apologies for the inconvenience.
