Yes. It is a significant upgrade. The Xbox 1 X cannot do 4K at 120Hz or render raytracing graphics. The Xbox Series X can do up to 8K and render raytracing graphics. It also has a solid state drive, upgraded cpu and gpu, meaning it is more than twice as fast and powerful as the Xbox 1 X. The Xbox 1 X will eventually become obsolete as it won't be able to run future games as they will continue to advance in detail and performance demand.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes there is an upgrade in virtually every category. The issue is that most games won’t push 120FPS until they are developed. Your basically getting a better console for future gaming needs, but as always, they companies want to spend money so they market all this fancy lingo. I think it will still take a whole year for some good games to come out with 120FPS and 8K would probably have to be at 30FPS or lower
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.xbox series x starts faster and you can play multiple games at once but the xbox one x it starts wayyyy longer than the seires x so I would recomend series x also it has more quality and you get some free stuff if you would have pre ordered
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The S has a smaller gpu, less ram, and a smaller ssd. Its a 1080p 60hz machine... Where as the x is a 4k 60hz machine. Dont go into these machines expecting 120 4k on all games, only a small handfull will be able to preform 1204k...and 8k 120 as the other guy said... NO WAY! most ultra high end pcs cant even do 8k 60hz and not to mention... Why? The s is 1080p 60hz the x is 4k 60hz with a ssd and good cpu in both
