I got on the Best Buy app and looked on there. And it showed me this unlike on the website. It says they’re already sold out. But it still says “coming soon” above it and also on the website. So I’m genuinely confused on if they’re already sold out, or if they are still waiting to open up the sales. But as far as I can tell, it says sold out on their mobile app. I added a screenshot for proof

The only sites that have taken pre-orders so far are the Microsoft Store, Walmart, and Target. Many are still waiting for Best Buy, Amazon, and Gamestop to allow pre-orders. And it's been dead silence from Best Buy.

Waited in line with many others for store to open. 2 reps came out and said..sorry we didnt get any in and are not going to. They said they never know until that day....ya, OK! But the web site said available for in store purchase only. Next thing you know..site says sold out. What is that? A man in line said the employees purchase them and also hold for their friends. They also said they are not getting the anniversary controller, but now it says sold out. ..This is not the first time this has happened! VERY DISAPPOINTED IN BEST BUYS UNTRUTHS AND SHAME ON THEM FOR WAISTING EVERYONES TIME. ..AND PUTTING FALSE INFO ON LINE. IN THE LAST YEAR, WE HAVE BEEN LIED TO SO MANY TIMES..AND CAUGHT THEM. THEN THEY MAKE EXCUSES. I GUESS WE WILL START BUYING EVERYTHING ELSEWHERE. This is false advertising.

We're working with manufacturer and as soon will get the inventory we will make it available for pre-order before release. That is copied and pasted from an online rep. They dont have the stock. They dont know when they will have the stock. They have literally 0 knowledge on this product. Release day is 12 days away. Still saying "coming soon". This is the actual definition of click bait for visitors.

Please try again later.I talked to a Best Buy rep who told me the pre-orders were done a while ago, the coming soon is for the release on the 15th and the sold out is supposedly showing as some technical glitch as they aren’t sure how many units will be available for the release on the 15th
