- Answer Sadly its literally a wireless receiver for the xbox controller that is needed if you game on pc, if you're motherboard doesn't have a wireless connection.

- Answer I don't believe so, unless that headset is made specifically for Xbox One. If it's only bluetooth capable, you should look into a bluetooth adapter (also available at Best Buy). I used mine because I have an Xbox Elite controller, that I'm using with a Windows PC.

- Answer The only way to find this out is to buy one and test if it still disconnects. There is no way to actually find out if it does because it will still connect to the xbox like it normally does it will not say connected to adapter as a controller. Best way is to buy one try it for a few days i think you have 15 or 30 days to return. I had issues with mine for pc not xbox but you chatbwith Microsoft amd they will answer your questions and maybe they can answer yours better
