• You might also try going into the settings all the way to the last page and update the 2ds xl system itself then you can update the minecraft game.this is what we had to do.

• It will work. My nephew has a Nintendo 2ds xl and it works with his ds. It doesn't work with a regular 2ds

• It should work that's what I bought.The one I bought came with Mario cart built in.

• Yes will work with the 2ds you just don’t get the 3D effect but plays fine and fully compatible
