Will this work as a backup camera for an RV trailer? null

Hello and thank you for reaching out. If the RV trailer has a 2.4GHz WiFi network to connect the device to, it should work as operated. Connect your mobile device to the same 2.4GHz WiFi network you are pairing the device to, open the MOBI App, Add the device and follow the steps in the App to properly connect the device to the WiFi.
