I've had that problem and went in to best buy they gave me brand new one.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Best Buy does not deal with manufacturer warranties so you would need to contact the company directly. Most likely will take 6 weeks to get replaced and will cost more to ship than getting a real Apple cable.
