Q: QuestionWith all this technology, they cannot come up with a cord that lasts longer then 4-6 months??? The last 10" cord I bought worked beautifully no problems whatsoever. It still looks brand new but just stopped working! I buy a minimum of 4 cords a yr!!! Why?

• A:Answer No, I do not believe it will (I googled iPad 2 & I know for a fact what popped up is not compatible if that is the one you’re talking about). You will need the wider iPhone charger.

• A:Answer Yes the Apple remote is a lighting cable so it works just the same as your iPhone usb to lighting. The only thing you will have to purchase separate is an extra wall adapter if you don’t want to keep swapping it from your iPhone to this to charge.
