“I am really stupid, but does Modal - Dual Layer Case for Apple Iphone 7 mean that there is both a front and back cover for the phone? I just bought an Iphone 7 and got a case that only covers the back but am worried that screen might scratch.”

I covers the sides and back. It has both an inner flexible layer and a hard outer shell (separate). I suggest a tempered glass screen protector for the front. I use one and it broke but not the actual screen. Costs more but worth it to me Also - don't ever say you are stupid

No, it only covers the back. If you are concerned about scratching the front of your phone, I'd recommend getting a screen cover. There are tons out there.

Unit does not come with screen cover, buy a glass cover and protect your phone. Bestbuy can install it for you.
