“Does this case darker around the edges because of the rubber and sliding into pockets and such like otterboxes cases do?”

I've only had my case for a couple months, but so haven't noticed the rubber getting darker.

I haven't had that issue with this case at all. I did have an Otterbox and it did do that. But I have been carrying this one for two months now and it still looks new.

I don't put in a pants pocket but I have not noticed any discoloration from putting it in my bag/purse pockets.
