The first thing you need to know is the age of your TV. If it was made prior to 2009 you definitely need a digital converter. If you aren't sure when your TV was made you can find out a few ways. 1) Look in your TV's manual if you still have it. 2)Google the make and model and look for info on your TV online. 3) Contact the manufacture of the TV and give them the model number and they can advise you. What you are looking for is reference to a "digital" or "ATSC" tuner. This indicates that your TV has the needed tuner to work with an antenna. If you see NTSC however, it is not ready and a converter is needed. Did you run the channel scan and make sure your TV is set to Antenna? If you are not sure how to run the channel scan please reach out to the maker of your TV for assistance. They can easily walk you through their specific process.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No converter needed, but you do need to use the little amplifier that came with it. Make sure you have some decent splitters if you are splitting the signal to multiple rooms. Also make sure your TV is scanning in OTA (Air) mode and not Cable. How old is your TV? Does it have a digital / HD tuner? One thing you can try is hook the amplifier up directly to the cable coming out of the antenna, and then straight to a TV, and scan on that one. Then you will know whether it works or not for sure.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If your TV is not digital then yes you need a converter. Better solution is to buy a digital TV though ( a smart TV preferably)
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No, you need to program your tv after you connect the antenna. If you don't know how to program your tv to interact with the antenna you purchased, contact your tv company and they will guide you through the process. Also, go online through Mohu and see which direction and what height you should mount your antemma. It is worth the effort and you won't regret it!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It wont work even with a converter. Don't waste your money unless you live within 10 miles of the transmission towers. A directional $35 antenna will be a much better value
