• Mount it is high as possible. I'd mount it as high as a 2 story house. You can always move it again. You can add onto the 30ft of coaxial that comes with it.

• This antenna needs line of sight, will need to get it high enough to see the general area of the transmission tower

• Not well at all if by low laying you mean you don't have a clear path to the TV transmitter. You need a relatively clear path to the tower.

• Since you are in a low lying area that can be a little tricky for reception. I would suggest that you look for a site that will allow you to enter in your complete address for a signal scan to see just what is available. With antennas the higher the better for optimal reception.
