Yea, no problem. I first set it up indoors, but I get a lot more channels if I put it outside. I actually hung it in a tree outside the window.

I tried various indoor antennas (3 different ones both amplified and non amplified and got slight signals, but not anything worth watching. Once put this right outside about 10-15 feet from where I tried it inside at the same ground level, I got over 40+ channels. According to only searches I'm about 33-34 miles from Chicago broadcasting stations.
