- Answer No, the coax is not detachable. Use a barrel connector to attach more cable, I did.

QuestionI would like to know if this would work in an r.v. without cable. My antenna on my camper is not working and I need to get more channels when we are away from home. What else would I need to buy to make this antenna work

- Answer I don't understand your question. You say "an RV without cable". Are you asking about using the antenna inside the RV? Metal sides of an RV would shield the antenna from any radio signals. Your antenna must be outside the metal sides of the RV, and this is not a weather resistant outdoor antenna. Any antenna is only good within the specified range to the transmitters.

- Answer I got 28 channels for mine, ABC, coumet, bounce, telemondo, court TV, HGTV, PBS, KOB, KOAT-TV, KWBQ, univision, KRWg- TV, KFOX 14, UNIWAS, that is few I can remember now. but I am 100% I got 28 channels and will also like to say depending on the position of the placement of the antenna in your apartment/house.

QuestionWhy is there intermittent loss of signal? Error message reads "channel not available".

- Answer when you set it up, the TV set will setup the channels you will get when it is done scanning. I have yet to get a channel not received by this item. I would rather have a roof anteanna than buy this product.

- Answer Device is about 12 x 10 inches, and sits on a provided stand with a 12 foot long cable provided to plug into your TV. One could attach the stand to a wall if desired, but we just sat it on dresser top by the TV.

- Answer If you are in or near a major city like Orlando or Tampa it can be mounted anywhere in the house. If you are a distance away you should get an outside antenna with a signal booster

- Answer I have inline networks. This does not interfere with them. You can 'remove' channels you don't want to watch. Once they are scanned, they usually don't require another, unless something is moved.

- Answer Yes. I would have to measure it to be sure, but I think it's about 6-8 ft long. If needed, you can add an extension to it.
