    • Answer It depends, I recommend finding out where the broadcast antennas are in your city, how far away are they, and do you have open air between you and the antenna. Can you place it by a window facing the antenna direction. Is there mountains, hills or tall buildings in between you and the antenna. Typically the higher you can mount an antenna the better. If you have open space give it a try, save your receipt so you can return if it doesn't work. Otherwise this is a great product and works well under the right conditions. Good luck.

    • Answer Hi Syleena, the Gateway antenna is a separate device from the Firestick. The antenna does not combine with your Firestick. The antenna is connected to the f-type connector on the back of the TV, while the Firestick is connected to the HDMI port. The Gateway Plus antenna will provide you with free over-the-air channels like ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX, PBS, The CW, and many many more channels all for free and only available with an antenna. If you need help with your Firestick, I suggest contacting Amazon directly for Firestick troubleshooting or you could possibly ask the Best Buy Geek Squad.

  • QuestionDoes this antenna work well in a basement?

    • Answer I would not recommend that the antenna be set up in the basement. It works better, the higher up and away from concrete walls and ideally facing out through a window. (But this is somewhat dependant on where your antenna is and where the broadcasting tower signal is eminating from.)
