A general rule of thumb for TV antenna placement is the higher you can get it the better reception you will have and antennas do tend to work best in windows that are facing the direction of the towers. Most customers try several locations until they locate the spot where they get the most channels. Please remember that every time you move your antenna you will need to run your channel scan again.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It needs to be mounted on a window. It is like an antenna that used to be used on top of roofs, but you pick up channels from the window. Buy a coaxial cable and connector to make your cord longer, so you can string it along the floor and up to a window. I bought a 16 foot coaxial cable for mine. It works great when it is up against a window. I wished I would have purchased it a long time ago!
