It is free once you buy it and IF you are in a good location to use an antenna! I would suggest that you google "how many ota channels will I get" and locate a site that allows you to put your address in for a signal scan. This will give you an idea of what channels are being broadcast in your area.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.there are websites that you can use to put in your zipcode and see how many stations are in your area. this will pick up any signal in range, and it is free just tlike the old tv signals that you got with your "rabbit ears"!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I just set mine up today and got 60. Granted, not all of them are stations I will use but it was a nice surprise. I'm in a semi-urban area of SW ID. Yes it is free once you purchase the antenna.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The number of channels you'll pick up depends on how many broadcasters there are in your area and how far you are from them. Think of this like the radio in your car, whatever your antenna can pick up you can enjoy for free. The further you get from where that station is broadcasting from, the worse your reception will be.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I live within 15 miles of NYC and receive about 50 channels crystal clear. Yes, it is free after you buy it. You can cancel your cable tv and save a lot of money.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Its really free. And it all depends on its location next to window or on the wall as to how many channels...one room in my house will get 6 and the other 16..I need to play around with the one to get a better signal.. I even get qvc and hsn..all free
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The channels you get are based on the area you are in. Once you attach the antenna to the your tv, it scans the channels and it takes about 5 minutes to get through that process. As to the other question, yes, it really is free once you buy it because unlike the cable company who over charges, you just pay once and that's it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It depends on where you are located. Do not trust the tool at mohu website. There's a better tool at http://www.antennaweb.org which will give an approximate range of channels
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, the digital channels being broadcast in your area are free. Google How To Geek and free digital tv channels. Good info there. http://www.howtogeek.com Depending on the different signal strengths, you may need different types of antennas to watch these channels. If you’re in an area with good strong signals, a “simple indoor antenna” should be good enough. WIth moderate signals, a “high quality indoor antenna”, like the one we installed, or an outdoor antenna will be necessary. For week signals, you’ll definitely need an outdoor antenna. The FCC’s website has more details on the types of antennas you’ll need in different situations. Consult the FCC’s website if you want more information about antenna technology — it’s extremely informative.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I guess it depends where you live. I live in Manhattan in a 32nd floor and I get around 45 channels.
