“If you bought an item that is covered under the 24 month protection plan. And it’s still under the 24 months from when you bought the item. Can you still use the protection plan if your membership is no longer active? Or does it have to be active?”

Think about it. If you bought a 100,000 mile extended warranty & the manufacturers warranty was for 10,000 miles, I'd your extended warranty still good? Unless they sent your money back, you're covered...
