Not sure if anyone else mentioned this, but Mophie also makes a battery pack for the phone, like the one you mention. If you select the right one, it will charge by induction with this base. I think the use case for this particular charger is overnight. That is what I wanted, and it works great. If you are running out of juice while you still need to use the device, then you should consider one of their juice packs, which is a battery in the phone case. Good Luck.
