“Does it mark up the case? I have read that the clip scratches up the case, is that true? I would hate for the clip to leave marks all over my beautiful, gold mophie air case and make it ugly!!”

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.On the black juice pack plus, the clip did leave some marks, which seem to have disappeared since I managed to break the clip and stopped using it. I will replace it next time I'm at best buy. On the gold juice pack, I would think marks would show more. Maybe it will be like the black one. I like Mophie stuff and I wouldn't let scratches that might happen stop me from using the belt clip. If the belt clip and juice pack are kept clean, scratches should be minimum damage.
