“Will this work on iPhone X as there is no mophie case out for it yet but will it charge my phone since the phone now has wireless charging built in????”

I would not recommended this product for use with the iPhone X without a mophie case. It will not hold the phone to the charger without the Mophie case. The phone will slide off of the charger.

Probably could charge the phone but would not hold it up because the magnets in the Mophie case and mount are matched to attract each other. I can put my s8 case on a metal surface and feel it has magnets in it and I did charge a s7 without a Mophie case. Apple may have a different charging system also.

It will charge the phone but the iPhone X does not have the magnetic holder so it won’t stay on

It is not compatible at this time, as there are no magnets that will attach the iPhone X to the mount.

I do not know it the mount will hold the phone with the magnetic part, but it should charge the phone just fine.
