“Is this Moto as fragile as some claim it to be? To purchase this Moto only to have the boom piece break off, even while being constantly fragile with it, seems to be a waste of money...am I correct in assuming that? Is the boom piece really that flimsy? Peace...AladdinSane ♐”

The device is not fragile at all, I work as a firefighter emt and also work in construction, I put it through some rough times and it holds up well.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I'm always cautious with how I handle electronics, especially tiny ones, so I don't know how it would hold up to rougher use. I leave mine in a cup holder in my car and never stick it in my pocket. That may help prevent it from breaking.

But of course if you put enough tension on the hinge it's going to give... It's about as sturdy as horn rimmed glasses... Relatively tough!

Motorola said they do not have the replacement ear hooks to send out....to by them form on line...which will cost you $6.99..plus $17.95 shipping so you can get them in just a timely manner.
