Mine looked like a new phone. No scratches or blemishes at all.

No nicks or scratches on mine. My only problem is it appears to be a Best Buy refurbish, not Motorola. Came in a BB box, not Motorola and the charger was 0.5 Amp, not the 3A Motorola ships with this phone. I'm not happy and will return it, luckily I did not turn it on yet. The discount was not worth it, I'll wait for the retail one to show up on sale again ($30 off) in store or online elsewhere.
