• I have been a Comcast customer for 18 years and just swapped my Arris brand modem from Comcast for this last week and it works great. Just a quick ten minute call to have them activate it. I will caution if you have comcast voice this is NOT a telephony modem so there is no telephone jack to run your voice service. Lots of people make this mistake so be careful. I happened to drop my Comcast voice land line so a straight compatible cable modem was all I needed. So far very stable.
