- Answer Yes, it can connect to wifi. The Moto E is a GSM device, so it should be compatible with most GSM networks, depending on what frequency bands they use. You may want to check with the service provider to verify that the device is supported on their network. Please be aware, however, that if you purchase a Moto E from a US site, it will have a US warranty. You may want to consider local options if you can.
