Hi, I just looked into my settings and there are many languages that can be used, including some that look Chinese to me (the option is written in some kind of Chinese letter format so I can't verify 100%).I took a screen shot for you. I hope it helps. There's also an international version of this phone and I don't know if that would be better for you because the radios of the US version are made to work better for the US.
