- Answer Yes, go to trackfone website to B.Y.O.P page and enter your zipcode, you'll see instantly if compatible. (depends on area if you have coverage) I bought exactly the same phone at Best Buy ,unlocked. You must buy a tracfone SIM card. I purchased wrong SIm as adviced on-line, had to get a Micro instead of the nano I bought. You can buy a package with different SIMS in it, you need the GSM DUAL SIM (standard or micro). Do not buy a CDMA SIM unless you have a used verizon phone. I'm in Michigan and it works perfect, very fast. If you're smart download free "whatsapp" app for messaging via wifi so you don't use up your text minutes. If you buy the $20 card everything triples, I bought 2, so for $40 I'm a month in and hardly used anything . Any major store has wi-fi , after entering the store your phone will ring and you can use their wi-fi. Next time you enter it goes automatically. Your friends need to get "whatsapp" also in order to save you money. My family is in Europe and we "whatsapp" all the time.......for free...even at Target. Good Luck

- Answer The cheaper model ($179) has only 1 gig of RAM and 8 gigs of internal stores. The more expensive of the two (around $219-$229) comes with 16 gigs or internal storage and 2 gigs or RAM (worth the extra $$ in my opinion).

- Answer This phone does not operate on the 700 band. It does operate on the 1700/2100 you may be able to find a international version on motorolas website though.
