“I am going to use Total Wireless with this phone. Anyone know if they will allow me to use the built in Hot Spot feature without an extra charge to their 30 day plans? Also do you think Best Buy will offer another Gift Card by Christmas 2016?”

With the Moto 4G you are able to use the free wi-fi hot spot anywhere there is that signal. Just make sure that cellular data in the settings is off. Otherwise, if you have it on your data that's on your plan will be used even though you are getting a free signal from a hot spot.
