A:AnswerThank you for the response. When talking to Spectrum Mobile, they ask for IMEI and then say the phone is not compatible. When asked why not, they don't know and will not explore or try anything even though I have a Spectrum sim card. I do like the Moto g Play phone and have no issues with it. Other carriers say it is compatible so will go with one of those. I wonder why Spectrum is so picky.

A:AnswerAfter MANY HOURS OF RESEARCH and aggravation, I finally solved the issue. I had to download a driver for the phone onto my PC for the PC to recognize the phone. Extremely poor design. I advise AGAINST BUYING THIS PHONE.
