“Has there been any sim issues with the Motorola brand phones? I am looking at the G5 plus because of HTC sim issues. Is this a good replacement? Thanks for the education Newbie”

I'm a newbie to and had no problem installing Total Wireless sim and activating.

I had no problems with my sim card. I didn't even activate it through my carrier, I just put my old sim card into the phone and turned it on with no issues.

Haven't had any SIM related issues with the Motorola phones in my family.

So this is a unlocked device and it should hot have any sim issues. All GSM sim carriers should work perfectly fine with it. I am currently using Ultra mobile and I am not having any issues at all.
