The difference is G5 S Plus has a different camera system with dual lens (stereo) camera. Moto G Plus (5th Gen) has a conventional single lens system like most other cell phone. 64GB native memory version is available in both models as are other versions with less memory capacity. Personally, I would try to get the most native memory capacity available that you can afford vs adding capacity via Micro-SD later, especially if you tend to use a whole lot of apps. Most phones will noticeably slow down or become unreliable as you near the max capacity of native memory. In most cases, adding memory via Micro-SD will not fix this problem and only thing that will help is to clean out the extra apps that you don't immediately need.
