Check directly with Consumer Cellular or Motorola. According the the MOTO website, it appears that most of their phones do not work on Consumer Cellular.

My sibling uses Consumer Cellular and I think they run through an AT&T tower there since it's all they have available. I bought mine mainly because it seems to work with any US carrier, any type network - GSM or CDMA. Go to the motorola.com website where they have a lookup page for where it works, etc. Accessories. You get a fast charger, a usb cable for same, and a pin tool for opening the sim card holder. DON'T LOSE THAT TOOL!
