• It will work if it is unlocked It's a activation but some places you purchase the phone might require you to sign a contract so check into that part..

• It worked on prepaid Verizon. The agent just transfered the Sim card from my old phone to the MotoG6. My other phone still works on wifi but I can not call or text. My MotoG6 works great on the old Sim card.
